Located in the Acorn Centre's Hospitality area is our Gallery space, where artists can exhibit two dimensional artwork for a month at a time
Local established artists have already made use of this space, but it is also an oppertunity for individual artists or groups who wouldn't readily have access to an exhibition space to show and sell their work.
There is no charges for the use of the space, but a commission of 20% of the sale price of any work sold will be taken by the Acorn Centre. At least 50% of the works exhibited must be for sale.
Exhibitions run for approximately one month from the first Monday of the month. Artwork must be removed on the day of change-over between 9am and noon and new exhibitors have access to hang their work between noon and 2pm.
Artists are encouraged to write something about themselves and their work on show. This should be on an A4 sheet and displayed alongside their work in a frame provided by the Acorn Centre.
Whilst the Acorn Centre endeavours to take every care of the artwork in the exhibition, any insurance for the artwork is the responsibility of the individual or group exhibiting.
